European 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Rule

The European 24 Hour advanced manifest rule comes into effect on 31st December 2010 and applies to all 27 EU member states.

  • For import cargo to all EU member states : The rule requires that "K" Line submit an ENS (Entry Summary) declaration to Customs at our first EU port of call, at least 24 hours before the vessel commences loading at each non-EU port of loading.
  • For export cargo from the EU : The EXS (Exit Summary) declaration must be submitted by "K" Line to EU Customs where no other declaration exists

This section of the "K" Line (Europe) Ltd website contains a number of documents and links to help our customers better understand the rule, and what is required of them once it becomes effective.
