"K" Line Air Service, Ltd. Opens New Forwarding Company in Shanghai 01/08/2005 "K" Line Air Service, Ltd. (KLAS), a member of the "K" Line Total Logistics, is pleased to announce that it will open a new forwarding company in Shanghai, China with capital investment by its Hong Kong based subsidiary company, "K" Line Air Service (China) Ltd. (KLAS-CHINA), being approved under the CEPA (China - Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement) Scheme. The new company is able to offer various kinds of logistics services involving shipping, inland transport, air forwarding (including booking, consolidation, custom clearance, insurance, etc.) KLAS previously opened a representative office in Shanghai through KLAS-CHINA to develop Eastern China market that has been so rapidly developing and KLAS is now ready for providing even more customer-oriented services in the Eastern China area.
