"K" Line Air Service, Ltd. Opens a Representative Office in Vietnam05/01/2006
"K" Line Air Service, Ltd. ( KLAS ) has opened a new Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City.
Many foreign companies, including other Japanese enterprises, have moved into Vietnam, which is a promising market which has high quality low-priced labor, a stable social and political environment, and certain infra-structures available, and is thus regarded as an attractive area as another investment / manufacturing base in addition to China, in order to hedge the risk of being only in China, i.e. "China Plus One." KLAS aims to develop and penetrate into this growing market through this new marketing base in cooperation with its local partner, Vietrans, which is one of the most traditional forwarders and has wide market coverage in Vietnam.
